R&B singer Miguel and Supermodel Nazanin Mandi have called it quits after 17 years of being together.
A representative for the duo told People Magazine that “After 17 years of being together, Miguel and Nazanin Mandi have decided to separate and for some time now. They both wish each other well.”
Nazanin told People magazine in March that they had to work to keep the fire in their relationship going during the quarantine and were successful. “We were used to being around each other a lot, but then we were also used to travelling a lot. So keeping the spark alive was something we had to stay on because when you’re in different cities, it’s automatic to feel excitement (when you see each other again). But being home together all the time, it’s like we have to find new things to watch, do, and read. It was a lot, but overall we did great. I have no complaints and am grateful for everything.”
The pair have taken to social media to post cryptic messages following the announcement. The singer posted an Instagram Story and said: “What do you desire? Have certainty and clear intention about your desire. Clarity is key…Only take action on things that relate to, and excite positive emotion to your desire.”
Mandi also shared quotes on Instagram about finding one’s self, as well as being open to finding love. She posted: “Someone once said: ‘You know you have a big heart when you feel bad for doing what’s best for you.’ And I felt that.”
In another quote, she posted: “Angel number 1212 symbolizes your spiritual awakening in life and a great sign that you’re on your towards your luck for love.”
Miguel and Nazanin Mandi had been together for 10 years before they became engaged in 2016. Our favourite lovebirds made their relationship official by tying the knot in November 2018.
