An owner of a security company specialising in among other services, crime-prevention and private VIP protection is today expected to appear in Palm Ridge Magistrates Court on charges of car theft.
Sbusiso Nkuna, who is also listed on his company’s website, DIA Intelligence Security as a managing director, is expected to appear in the Palm Ridge Magistrates Court in Katlehong, East Rand today after he allegedly stole a Mercedes Benz V-Class he had sold to a well-known Johannesburg businessman.
Africa News Global understands that when Nkuna sold the car, he kept the vehicle’s spare keys. It is suspected that Nkuna used the spare key to drive the vehicle which was parked outside the multi-million rand home of the businessman at the exclusive residential estate, Meyersdal Eco Estate outside Alberton.
Sources have told Africa News Global that how Nkuna managed to get access to this top security estate is part of the police investigation. On its website, DIA Intelligence Security claims “DIA Security agency is a Contemporary South African Group of companies founded by Mr Sbusiso Nkuna who seeks to enrich South Africa’s businesses by re-inventing the culture of doing business in the industry.”
The company also claims that “our patrol services will help reduce break-ins, vandalism and other crimes against your property, staff, residents, and visitors.”
The information that is being spread here is False, Untrue, Baseless, Unfounded and Unsubstantiated.
THE STORY IS LIKE THIS:
SBUSISO NKUNA SOLD HIS CAR TO MR. MAGESTA SETONA ON HIRE PURCHASE (INSTALLMENT PLAN) OR ON CREDIT. MR. M. SETONA PAID A DEPOSIT. AFTER PAYING 4 MONTH HE DEFAULTED ON INSTALLMENTS FOR 7 MONTHS.HE LITERARY STOPPED COOPERATING WITH MR. S. NKUNA.
MR. S NKUNA WAS LEFT WITH NO CHOICE BUT TO REPOSSESS HIS VEHICLE DUE TO NONE PAYMENT AFTER HAVING FAILED TO COLLECT ANY INSTALLMENT FOR THE 7 MONTH PERIOD.
MR. M. SETONA (THE BUYER) OPENED A CASE OF MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT AGAINST THE TRUE OWNER OF THE VEHICLE MR. S. NKUNA. IN NORMAL CIRCUMSTANCES THIS WAS NOT POSSIBLE TO OPEN A CASE AGAINST A TRUE OWNER.
IT’S WORTH MENTIONING THAT MR. S SETONA IS FORMER POLICE MAN AND HAS POLITICAL CONNECTIONS. THE BUYER USED HIS INFLUENCE TO PURSUE A CRIMINAL CASE FOR A CIVIL MATTER CASE LIKE THIS ONE AGAINST MR. S. NKUNA.
MIND YOU BOTH THE BUYER AND SELLER ARE IN SECURITY BUSINESS AND THIS CASE WAS BASED ON ANGER, PURE JEALOUSY AND DEFORMATION OF CHARACTER. THE COURT REVERTEDTHE CASE BACK TO CIVIL CASE.
